The Salvation Army of Kalamazoo has been serving those in the most need in our area for 137 years. We are dedicated to helping the most people in the most need in our community. Each year, we serve thousands of individuals and families with emergency utility, food, and rental assistance, provide a safe place for youth activities, offer programming for seniors and provide coats, food and toys for our struggling neighbors.

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
